Tea Party Movement

Judson Phillips Does Not Speak for the Tea Party Movement

Again, when it comes to the media, they fail to report to the people that the Tea Party Movement is a nationwide movement of “the people”. Within this TPM there are diverse Tea Party’s each with their diverse endorsements.

Let’s set the record straight – Tea Party Express teamed up with CNN, a known left-leaning network, for a debate, Tea Party Nation, headed by a single man, Judson Phillips, announces his personal endorsement of candidates as being a voice for the Tea Party, then there are the Tea Party Patriots, the original TPM faction, where they do not send out a single voice to endorse a specific candidate but leave it up to “the people” to decide.

When one hears the news report that “the Tea Party favorite is…” they must ask themselves, which Tea Party? The actual base of people across America, Judson Phillips, or the establishment leaning Tea Party Express? The true TPM does not have a head to the party and therefore the only true tale of who the people feel the favorite candidate is, is at the polls where the people vote. But do not fall prey to believing that the poll winners are merely indicative of who the TPM supports, for not all GOP poll voters consider themselves part of the Tea Party Movement.

What the Tea Party Movement is all about: Americans who look to bring the government back to the people and force the governments (both federal and state level governments) to abide by the Constitution of the United States of America. It is that simple. What the Tea Party Movement is not: A single person speaking for the voices of those Americans who support the TPM.

So the next time you hear “the Tea Party favorite is…”, pass it off with a grain of salt, for the winner of the elections is who “the people’s favorite is.”

  2. Indeed he does. Not realizing there was a difference in the various TP groups, I initially signed up with his TPN site. I quickly learned that alot, and most of it not good.

The TPM isn’t about one person, it’s about the masses standing up for the country. In that, you will never have 100% consensus. Notwithstanding that I don’t really care for this guy, I’m even more appalled at the media who spins this top like it has no tomorrow.
